A very simple but very elegant invitation holder for esteemed watchmakers Richard Mille.
Designed as an understated sealed white outer, glimpses of the hot red inner are shown teasingly at each end of the folded sleeve. The recipient is invited to peel back the utilitarian crocodile strip— more commonly seen on postal packaging— to reveal the full punch of the vibrant interior, and inside, the individual invitation card for the event.
Achieved by duplexing the red and the white layers together, this technique never fails to surprise by creating a board not available as a standard off-the-shelf material, by combining different colours and sometimes weights of boards together.
