To celebrate the launch of the Blue Book 2024 Tiffany Céleste, we were delighted to be tasked with the creation of this exquisite gift box, designed to house and present a beautiful, custom-made kaleidoscope, which follows the collections theme of ‘a journey through the cosmos’.
The box itself is an engineered paper-over board construction, with a series of custom cut card layers designed to safely hold the contents. Inside the box the recipient will find the steel kaleidoscope viewer and three interchangeable glass orbs, a gift to to take the viewer on their own celestial journey. Together these are of are of some considerable weight, so it was important to ensure the design of the internal structure would keep all pieces securely in place, while remaining beautiful to the eye.
The cloth-covering of the box outer and hinged lid is adorned with an ultra-fine silver design using the cold stamp foil method, to mimic thousands of stars. The inner layers are also embellished with multiple silver stars for a complete celestial effect.
